Update

It's been a while since my last blog... Here is an update... The Craft Fair wasn't a huge success. Could have been better but could have been worse. It was worth it for me, I sold a few items, but the turn out wasn't great and I felt bad for the other tables as they didn't sell much. As I was the person who arranged it I wanted everyone to make lots of sales, but I guess that's just being unrealistic. I'm not going to arrange another Fair until Christmas, instead I will attend some and see how it goes. If this year is bad at fairs, I will give up that idea completelly and concentrate on other ways of selling.

My website has been up and running since last summer and I have yet to make my first sale.

On the upside... I made quite a bit of money over Christmas through work colleagues and friends (without them my business would be non existent)

Sorry for the whinge... I'm sure a lot of people are having the same problem. I don't like to complain because a lot of people are loosing their jobs this day and age...I hope it all gets better soon for everyone!!!

Motivation Problem

I have been arranging a craft fair for the past 2 weeks and when I sat down today to continue creating and making items for it and other craft fairs I'm attending, nothing happened... my mind is blank. Perhaps worrying about everything is making it worse. So I have decided to go away from my desk and return to it another day. (This makes me feel like a failure but it's just not happening today)

My first blog

This is my first blog recommended by people at the craft forum. Many thanks to them for their help and advice. I'm just starting out, even though I have been making jewellery and cards for 2 years, I have only just started thinking about selling them.

I have been looking into Craft Fairs in North Wales, but nothing much showing up on search results therefore I am attempting to arrange my own. Will keep you updated on this. I am also planning on holding jewellery parties which should be a lot of fun.

I will keep my first blog brief so that I have something to say the next time I log in. I don't quite know how all this works yet so please bear with me.
